Security Consulting
Overview
You don’t need any more tools – you just want a security design that blocks attacks on the ground and can recover from a breach. Our consulting is not “best-practice”, it delivers hard decisions, clean architecture, and enforceable controls. The design is operations-friendly, where changes are ticked, and evidence is automatically generated (perfect for audits).
Risk Roadmap
We first look at your environment and create a risk-based priority roadmap.
Security Architecture
Tested, battle-ready architecture patterns are implemented everywhere. The Target is simple: preventing a breach and being able to recover after a breach.
Evidence Framework:
You get dashboards, scheduled exports, and test results that show who is compliant, who is blocked, who is elevated, what controls are in place, making audits, insurance renewals, and board reporting effortless.
Identity Architecture (MFA, JIT, SSO)
Most security incidents start here – compromised passwords, stale admin rights, legacy logins, etc. We have redesigned the identity architecture in such a way that even if the password is stolen, the attacker cannot do anything.
Old protocols (POP, IMAP, NTLM) are favorite entry points for attackers, so we shift as many apps as possible to SSO MFA, band, block, or isolate weak/legacy logins, and implement secure compensating controls where required.
Permanent admin rights means permanent danger. Once the attacker comes inside, he will get full control. We don't let that happen. Time-bound admin access, approval session recording at every elevation, every admin activity logged and reviewed
Normal OTP/MFA (SMS codes, email OTP) are easily stolen by attackers. We replace use with FIDO2/Passkey based MFA which provides the strongest protection to Admins and remote access, blocks SIM swap, OTP theft, fake login pages – all, making credentials practically “useless” to attackers.
Network Segmentation That Stops Lateral Movement
Ransomware is successful when it can easily move from one machine to another – this is called lateral movement. Flat networks are free movement for the attacker. That’s why we divide the network into many parts, so that one compromise does not bring down the system.

-
Each network runs in a separate lane, one machine is hacked and the rest are safe. -
Side-to-side spread of ransomware is almost impossible. -
Malware cannot connect to Bahaar's server.
Endpoint & Server Baselines
Endpoints (laptops, desktops) and servers are where malware actually runs. If these systems are not predictable, locked down, and secure, it is easy for an attacker to tamper with them. That’s why we run them on strong baselines – such that every system remains in a controlled, trusted state.
- Attack has stopped, evidence remains safe.
- The most critical systems could not even be touched by a hacker.
- You know which systems are off-baseline - before something breaks.
Cloud Tenant Hardening (M365, Google, Azure, IAM)
Nowadays cloud and SaaS apps have become an important part of your company. Attackers have often gained access to poor businesses by compromising cloud accounts and apps. That’s why we harden cloud tenant.
- Admin roles are strictly defined and reviewed.
- Control App permissions and OAuth abuse.
- Ensure reliable backup and restore of SaaS data.
Set Target RPO/RTO by Tier
Backup and recovery plans are effective only when they understand business needs. Setting random targets is of no use, as you may fail in the first test. Therefore, we design RPO/RTO with a tier-based approach. We have set RPO/RTO this way:
- Data loss and downtime match with business goals.
- Critical apps can be restored instantly.
- Backup and restore of less critical apps should be kept cost-effective.
- Backup infrastructure is tiered and resilient.

Monitoring, Detection & Playbooks
Alerts are useful only when used with action. Random or noisy alerts confuse the business, but do not catch the attack. Therefore we use a combo of monitoring, detection, and playbooks. We set up monitoring and detection as follows:
- Alerts are actionable, no noise
- Threats should be contained in the first hour
- All activity is logged and proof-ready.

Recovery Architecture & Testing
The main goal of ransomware is to make data inaccessible. If backups are not reliable, recovery appears to fail and the attack appears successful. That’s why we design recovery architecture and testing like this:
Backups are tamper-proof and redundant.
Restore process malware-free.
Recovery proven via regular test runs.
Evidence ready for leadership and insurers.
Delivery Model & Governance
Effective cybersecurity comes from structured delivery and governance, not just tools. We deliver work in stages and metrics evidence remains ready at every step. We are here to deliver:
Deployment is phased and risk-free.
Governance should be lightweight, practical, and enforceable.
Metrics and evidence are ready at this stage.
Full transparency for leadership and auditors.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not necessary, first we max-utilize existing tools, strengthen the configuration, and close the gaps. If tools are missing, then a new recommendation comes.
In flat networks ransomware jumps from one system to another. After segmentation, the attack is confined to one zone, the entire business does not go down.
Regularly scheduled restore drills, malware-free recoveries, and evidence reports are generated there. This is critical in insurance and leadership approval.
